I am a New Mexico resident, born and raised in Farmington. This is my senior year here at NMSU, even though it doesn't feel like it. I'm studying Human Nutrition and Food Science (HNFS) as well as Spanish. I'm planning on applying to medical school next summer and then getting married to my high school sweetheart in August. I like to stay busy and active- I tutor chemistry and physics and work at the hospital part time. My older sister and I have trained for and completed two marathons and are talking about a triathlon someday.
I have enjoyed every minute of life as a student at NMSU. My choice to join the College of Ag has been a rewarding one; I've discovered an outstanding faculty, found consistent academic support, and even received a college scholarship. I would recommend the college to anyone who is looking for practical, hands on experience across a variety of fields. I invite you to see what this college can do for you!
