The Department

We also offer a variety of student organizations, including a Rodeo Club, a Horse Judging team, an Equestrian Club, a Range Club and many others.

In addition to undergraduate degrees, we offer graduate degrees at the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy levels.

The M.S. or Ph.D. in Animal Science can emphasize nutrition or physiology, and the M.S. or Ph.D. in Range Science students have the option to study in areas including, but not exclusive to, range ecology and watershed management.

In the Department of Animal and Range Sciences, students can major in * Animal Science or Rangeland Resources.

The Department also offers* Pre-veterinary studies, with graduates having a high acceptance rate into veterinary medicine programs.
