The mission of the Center for North American Studies (CNAS), which involves faculty from New Mexico State University, Louisiana State University, Texas A&M University, and Texas Tech University, is to promote strong agricultural ties between the United States, Mexico, and Canada, to expand trade relationships among the three countries, to enhance the competitiveness of U.S. agriculture, and to foster greater cooperation in resolving critical agricultural issues of common interest. The CNAS is working to develop cooperative linkages with other universities with internationally recognized agricultural programs in the United States, Canada, and Mexico to study, conduct research, and provide training on a broad range of agricultural issues.
