Erin Hightower
Erin Hightower is currently in her sophomore year in the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) and is majoring in Agricultural Biology. Erin was introduced to the College of ACES at a young age because of her family's ranching background and the immense role that the college ranch in Corona has played in the ranching practices they now employ. She also was a devoted 4-H and FFA member, and served as a 4-H Ambassador and a State FFA Officer. Service in both offices has helped her establish connections within the College of ACES.
Erin chose to attend New Mexico State University because it was close to home and offered a wide range of possibilities. Since she started here, she has discovered a whole new type of family within the Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Weed Science department, thanks to the small size of the department and friendliness of its faculty. After graduating from the College of ACES, Erin plans on attending veterinarian school and practicing rural veterinary medicine.
