INDIAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

WELCOME

Indian Resource Development is a statewide program located at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. IRD promotes and facilitates higher education opportunities for Native American students in mathematics, science, engineering, business and agriculture.

MISSION

At the Indian Resource Development Program, students are encouraged to obtain baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate degrees in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Math, and other science-related degrees. It is expected that the student will be able to contribute to the development and the management of tribal and state resources, government, and/or private sector.
