Patrick M. Abalos
Patrick M. Abalos is a sophomore from Silver City, New Mexico where he was born and raised. He is majoring in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management and is also pursuing a minor in Culinary Science. Patrick has a passion for the Food and Beverage Industry. With his education, he plans on either continuing his education at Culinary School or going to Grad School. After that he plans to work for one of the big restaurant chains or opening his own restaurant. He is active in many activities and organizations both in the college and university. Going to college was an easy choice for Patrick. He chose the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) because they offered the best program of study in the state he wanted to pursue. This was by far the best decision in his life. Not only do they treat you like a person, but like a family member. The professors, faculty and staff of the college know you by your name and care about you. The College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at New Mexico State University offers many great and unique opportunities to help you to pursue your interests and also helps you grow to your fullest potential.
