The New Mexico Botanist Newsletter
The New Mexico Botanist is a newsletter to help make available information about the flora of New Mexico to the botanists of the state. It is issued jointly by the Range Science Herbarium (NMCR) and the Cooperative Extension Service of New Mexico State University. The newsletter focuses on floristic and taxonomic information of interest to the botanists of the state, such as new state records, nomenclatural notes and explanations, brief taxonomic summaries, pertinent literature, reports of inventories and theses, threatened and endangered species, announcements and reports of meetings and conferences, and the like.
Issue 59 is the last issue of The New Mexico Botanist, at least for the next year or two while the editor pursues plans of a personal nature.
