New Mexico State University offers the state's only bachelor degree in HRTM. Founded in 1988, the school is one of the best programs in the country. It has the unique distinction of being housed in the College of ACES, while teaching a broad hospitality curriculum, with an applied business focus. The School currently has over 200 majors and a diverse student-centered faculty who personally advise students. Work experience and internships open the door for students to enter the work world before graduation. More than $45,000 in scholarships are available annually through the school. Students receive hands-on restaurant and event management education in our commercial food production and service lab and Bobby Lee Lawrence Academy of Wine. They also take interactive learning classes in our technology learning lab.
