HRTM and CAHE Scholarships
HRTM offers several scholarships to HRTM majors only. They can range from $150 to full tuition rides! You may be eligible!! Deadline for scholarship applications is March 1, every year. The ONLINE application will be available after school starts each January. The awards are made for the following academic year. The online application also submits your information to be considered for scholarships available through the College of Agriculture and Home Economics (CAHE).
HRTM Scholarships
- HRTM Board of Advisors Scholarship
Available to HRTM majors only.
Awards: Value varies according to donations made by industry supporters.
Criteria: Minimum 2.5 GPA. Committee also considers industry experience, student activities and financial need. - The Kimberly Ming HRTM
Endowed Scholarship Fund
Available to one HRTM female major per year - Junior, Senior or Graduate level.
Award amount varies each year.
Criteria: Female, minimum 3.5 GPA, financial need, degree emphasis is in the foods industry. - The Mary Kay Cline
Scholarship
Available to HRTM majors only - Sophomore, Junior or Senior level.
Award amount varies each year.
Criteria: HRTM major, minimum 3.5 GPA, preference given to students from the Albuquerque area, recipient does not need to qualify for federal financial aid. Funds may be used for school expenses other than tuition.
CAHE Scholarships
- Rosina Patterson Scholarship
Student must be a graduate of a New Mexico high school.
Currently awarding four full time scholarships covering tuition and fees and one scholarship that pays 1/2 semester tuition. Up to $75 towards books may also be awarded. - Cole Memorial
Awards range from $200 - 500 per year

Industry Scholarship Opportunities
The HRTM Scholarship Coordinator has compiled a "book" of scholarships offered by various industry partners and foundations. The "book" is located in the HRTM office. Current year applications and/or website information are entered into the "book" as they are received by individual company's or foundation's.
Check back often. All of these scholarships will be awarded to somebody, why not you! For more information or help with any of the industry scholarship applications, ask for the scholarship coordinator in the HRTM office.
