Current Research Information System

Welcome to Current Research Information System (CRIS)!

The Current Research Information System (CRIS) provides documentation and reporting for ongoing agricultural, food science, human nutrition, and forestry research, education and extension activities for the United States Department of Agriculture; with a focus on the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) grant programs. Projects are conducted or sponsored by USDA research agencies, state agricultural experiment stations, land-grant universities, other cooperating state institutions, and participants in NIFA-administered grant programs, including Small Business Innovation Research and Agriculture and Food Research Initiative. The Planning, Accountability, & Reporting Staff office of NIFA is responsible for maintaining CRIS.

User Tips

Type the last name of the researcher in the Investigator box. Type New Mexico in the State / Country box. Click on the Display Results box to see a list of matching projects. (See graphic above).

Click on the right-hand More box to see the objectives and reports for any project. To see all the details, including publications, click on the Full History box at the top of the project screen.
