Turfgrass, Ornamental and Landscape Plants
The greenhouse nursery industry is an important industry in New Mexico. Also, turfgrass and landscape plants varieties are used in parks, sporting fields, city streets, and lawns. New Mexico Agricultural Experiment Station scientists are testing plant varieties that use marginal-quality water, so as to preserve potable water for human use.
