In celebration of New Mexico's 100 years of statehood, and the Morrill Act of 1862, the Library and NMSU's College of Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) are collaborating on a project to digitize more than 100 years of research documented in NMSU's Extension and Experiment Station Publications to make them available to students, faculty, citizens of our great state and researchers worldwide. To complete this project, they are asking for support from friends of the NMSU Library, NMSU College of ACES Alumni and proud New Mexicans everywhere. The goal is to raise $39,000 by May 1, 2012, to pay for scanning of the original documents and preparation and entry of metadata.
