Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometry

Our ICP/MS system is an Octopole Reaction System (ORS) Agilent 7500ce with a CETAC XS-520 autosampler. The Octopole Reaction cell permits minimization of spectral interference allowing detection of a broad range of elements. The system provides quantitation of trace metals to parts-per-trillion levels. A microwave sample digestion system is also available. This ICP/MS system is regularly used for environmental, geological and biological samples. More difficult applications include metallurgical and petrochemical analysis.
