Annual Plant Clinic
The community will have the chance to get free plant diagnostics from 16 students in the Diagnosing Plant Disorder class, assisted by four New Mexico State University experts.

The event will take place at the NMSU Pan American Center parking Lot 30, from 1 to 5:20 p.m. Oct. 27. More info...

Student Gardens celebrate becoming certified organic
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 29 at the NMSU Student Research and Education Gardens just south of the University Alumni and Visitor Center located at 775 College Drive.

There will also be organic produce and student-made gelato available for purchase in the Crimson Creations student-run retail store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Students in the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences learn how to grow, sell, use and market organic produce at the Student Gardens located behind Gerald Thomas Hall. More info...

Second annual Fright Night
The New Mexico State University Entomology, Plant Pathology and Weed Science Department will host its second annual Fright Night starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Gerald Thomas Auditorium Room 194. The will be a free double movie feature that includes "Eight Legged Freaks" and "Arachnophobia." Enjoy refreshments and a chance to win door prizes.

Homecoming Door Decorating Contest
Theme: Road to Discovery

If you are entering the contest let Olga (6-1806) or Pam (6-5848) know by Nov 3 so they can make sure the Judges see your display. Judging will be at 2:00pm on Nov 6. Winners announced Nov 7.

Special Note: Because of fire codes, the decorations are restricted to 5 feet on either side of the door. The Fire Marshall insists the halls be kept clear of obstructions.
