Santa Fe
Historic Garden Restoration presented by the Santa Fe Master Gardeners Association
Historic Garden Restoration will be the topic of the July workshop lead by the Santa Fe Master Gardeners Association.

The Santa Fe Master Gardeners began working with the Historic Santa Fe Foundation in late 2012 on restoration of this garden in a manner that reflects locally responsible gardening practices. After an initial assessment (existing plantings, soil characteristics, availability of water, etc). They developed a garden design and a work plan to address the needs and enhancements of this established garden.

Now in its third year, project activities will focus on pruning, drip irrigation, relocating plants to eliminate crowding, adding new plants, maintenance of compost bins and recommending other improvements to the garden.

The workshop will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Garden at El Zaguan , 545 Canyon Rd Santa Fe. More info...
