Grant Writing Workshop - New Mexico Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program
This Workshop focuses on effective grant writing strategies for USDA Agricultural Marketing Serve (AMS) programs such as Farmers' Market Promotional Programs and the Local Food Promotional programs.
NMSU's Community Resources & Economic Development Specialist, Michael Patrick, will conduct the workshop.

Jujube and Fruit Tree Grafting Workshop
Shengrui Yao, NMSU Extension fruit specialist and researcher, will hold a free workshop, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, at NMSU’s Sustainable Agriculture Science Center at Alcalde, to discuss the growing habits of jujube trees followed by a short grafting presentation at hands-on session. The program will include a jujube tree pruning demonstration in the orchard.

The jujube growing habits and pruning session are for growers who have jujube trees or have an interest in growing them.

NM Youth Ranch Management Camp
NM Youth Ranch Management Camp is designed for 15-19 year old New Mexico youth and is limited in the number of youth selected to participate in this prestigious camp.

Applications are evaluated by a select panel consisting of committee members, industry professionals and allied partners.

Thirty of the top applicants are invited to attend this unique, learning experience at the Valles Caldera.
