The Children, Youth, and Families at Risk (CYFAR) program is an initiative from the United States Department of Agriculture / Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service. USDA/CSREES provides grant funding for the Cooperative Extension Service in every state to provide programs for children and families at risk.

The New Mexico Cooperative Extension Service's CYFAR project is the JUST BE IT! Healthy and Fit Program.

The JUST BE IT! Healthy and Fit program reduces the risk factors for childhood obesity of 5th grade students located in the New Mexico Counties of Santa Fe, Rio Arriba, and Los Alamos. The program addresses the national CYFAR school age (K-8) outcome that "school age youth will demonstrate knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior necessary for fulfilling contributing lives".
