Diana Magallanez works as a facilitator providing parenting education (English and Spanish) in the Family Wellness Program through the Strengthening Families Initiative. She has been employed as an Extension Associate in the Department of Extension Home Economics/Family and Consumer Sciences at New Mexico State University (NMSU) for approximately four years.

Diana earned her bachelor's degree in Family and Child Science (2005) at NMSU. She is pursuing a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with emphasis in Educational Learning Technologies. Diana holds certification as a Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) and as an instructor in Infant Touch and Massage from the International Institute of Infant Massage. One of Diana's most important professional and personal goals is to empower individuals to obtain the resources that they need to make their lives better. Her work as facilitator in the Nurturing Parenting and the Family Wellness programs enable her to attain this professional goal.
