Linda Lopez is a Career Advancement Facilitator with the NMSU Strengthening Families Initiative. Linda received her education at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education in 2008, and continued on, completing her Master's Degree in Family and Child Sciences in 2010.
Before working at NMSU Strengthening Families Initiative, Linda was working with NM Works in Anthony, NM as a Career Development Specialist. She worked with TANF recipients helping them to become job ready and self-sufficient. During her undergraduate degree Linda worked as a work-study assistant with the department of Family and Consumer Sciences. During her graduate degree, she worked with the NMSU Family Resource Center as a Program Coordinator, planning activities and programs aimed at strengthening the family unit.
