Terry Evaro

Terry Evaro is the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Strengthening Families Initiative program. She is responsible not only for the office duties, but for tasks pertaining to the Family Wellness program and the Job Readiness and Career Advancement program. Terry earned her Bachelor's Degree from New Mexico State University in December 2011, receiving her degree in Family & Child Science. Terry has worked with Families and Youth, Inc. as an intern working with non-custodial parents for the Access / Visitation Services Department and also with the Transitional Living Program assisting the homeless youth of the community. In 1996, Terry began her employment with New Mexico State University as a Records Clerk with the Student Employment Department. Terry worked as an Office Manager for the Community Action Agency Food Bank, where she assisted over 300 people in the community with obtaining community resources. She also worked with programs such as, Coats for Kids, Back to School events, and Community Food Drives. She has worked in her current position in SFI for the past five years. Terry has worked in the Las Cruces community for over 30 years and has a passion to work and assist families in very capacity. Terry has a strong dedication and commitment to serving the people of this community.
