  • Mobile Molecular Lab
    NMSU-HHMI Outreach Scientist in the Biology Department's mobile lab visits high schools across New Mexico and provides students with the opportunity to use state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and advanced molecular biology techniques.
  • Center for Border and Indigenous Educational Leadership (CeBIEL)
    CeBIEL supports local school districts located along the US-Mexico border as well as throughout the entire state of New Mexico in addressing the achievement gap of PK-12 students by providing professional development in the areas of instructional leadership; focusing on issues of poverty, culture, and linguistic diversity.
  • SC2: Scientifically Connected Communities
    Scientifically Connected Communities (SC2), based at NMSU, is dedicated to improving the scientific literacy of southern New Mexico students by providing professional development to 4th-8th grade teachers that emphasizes critical-thinking strategies and pedagogy to enhance scientific inquiry for all students.
