4-H. The Answer People.
These days, 4-H'ers across the nation are responding to challenges every day in their communities and their world. With an expansive network reaching every corner of the U.S., 4-H is the nation's largest youth development organization. More than six million 4-H'ers in urban neighborhoods, suburban schoolyards, and rural farming communities stand out among their peers: they are building revolutionary opportunities and implementing community-wide change at an early age. There are approximately 15-20 clubs in our county each year, totaling approximately 350 traditional 4-H members. 4-H clubs vary in participation and project interests or focuses. Many are general 4-H clubs, which means the club and members participate in a variety of projects and activities. Other clubs are more focused on projects such as livestock, rodeo, or horse.
