About Me: I am 25 years old and a first year graduate student at New Mexico State University. I have been very involved with our on-campus club, the Association of Family and Consumer Sciences for the past 4 years. I am also currently serving on the New Mexico Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Board of Directors. I am a native New Mexican but lived in New Jersey and Colorado during grade school. While I was in high school, my parents moved us back to New Mexico and we have lived here ever since. I have a wonderful 2 year old son, Ian. He is truly the inspiration to everything I do. In my spare time I like to spend time with my son and family. In the future I hope to do more traveling and land a job where I can help children and families.

Degree: Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences
Major: Family and Child Sciences
Expected Graduation Date: May 2010
About me: I am currently a senior at New Mexico State University and am a new intern at the Family Resource Center. I moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico in 2001 after living in Colorado for about 11 years.I have worked with preschool, kindergarten, middle school, and high school students in the past through various job positions and church ministry positions. For fun, I enjoy writing, playing, and recording music. Families and children need a solid foundation to stand and live upon in this life, and my hope is that I may lead them to that foundation. I hope to one day fulfill this purpose through establishing effective church ministry programs and a music career.
