Texas Redbud or Cercis reniformis greatest quality has to be its asthetic value. It produces pink flowers that cover the canopy. It can grow from 15 to 25 feet depending on conditions, and is a medium to low water use plant. The Texas Redbud can have problems with 105 and hotter weather but with enough water will be fine. There is enough foilage to provide some summer shade. The texas reedbud is not prone to devastation by disease or insect, and has no abnormal soil requirements.
