Viewing/Downloading eBooks On Your Mobile Device

Mobile device with internet access and web browser

If your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device can connect to the internet via a web browser, you can download eBooks directly from the publications website (aces.nmsu.edu/pubs/ebooks) and view them in an e-reader app.

Apple devices come preinstalled with iBooks, a free e-reader app.

For Android devices, you will need to install an e-reader app to view eBooks. We recommend “Skoob ePub/eBook Reader,” which is available for free in the Google Play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.s2apps.reader&hl=en).

  1. Open Safari and navigate to the eBooks page (aces.nmsu.edu/pubs/ebooks).
  2. Locate the publication you wish to view/download.
  3. Tap on the link to the epub version of the publication.

  4. Tap on the “Open in ‘iBooks’” option.
