Food defense involves protecting your company and product from acts of intentional contamination. The goal of the full-day workshop is to provide an understanding of food defense, the tools and resources available to create food defense plans and how to use the FDA’s Food Defense Plan Builder (FDPB) Tool.
During the workshop, attendees will receive information on food defense and walk through a series of exercises using the FDPB tool.
There will be open discussion and Q&A sessions throughout the day.
The Southwest Border Food Safety and Defense Center (SWBFSDC), in cooperation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), invite you to a Food Defense Awareness Workshop.
