The New Mexico 4-H Contest Showcase offers 4-H members around the state a chance to virtually explore various contests offered at the State and District levels. The Showcase is opened to all Novice, Junior, and Senior 4-H members. Included in this email is a complete tip sheet for participating. The Showcase will go live on July 6 and run through July 17. There is no pre-registration and members can register themselves and participate in as many contests as they’d like anytime throughout the two week time frame.

About Google Classroom: The Contest Showcase will utilize the Google Classrooms platform.
• Google Classroom can be used with an active Gmail or Google account.
• Google Classroom accounts associated with schools may not have authorization to access non-school classrooms.
• Email addresses from a different email service may be used to create a Google Classroom account.
• Multiple participants may use the same Google Classroom account.

When joining the contest showcase, members will be asked to join the appropriate classroom. Novice and Junior members will participate by District and the Senior members will participate in the Senior Classroom. Please check out the Tip Sheet for more details. If you have any questions related to using Google Classroom please contact Santa Fe County 4-H Agent Amanda Benton: abenton@nmsu.edu 432-349-9123

These contests will provide feedback to participants after the showcase has closed and judges have had time to review submissions.

While the contest showcase will not score participants against one another, all participants in the Showcase will receive a prize! In addition, all participants will be included in a drawing for special prizes!

Many 4-H Agents have worked very hard to provide this opportunity for our members. We hope that you enjoy it! Good Luck and Have Fun!
