General Information
The New Mexico Youth Development Foundation's mission is to raise funds and develop resources to enhance and expand 4-H programming for youth development in New Mexico. The Foundation supports the 4-H program to help young people become self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society. More specifically, 4-H strives to help young people to obtain a balance between life, work, leisure, family, community, and self.
The Foundation is a private, non-profit, charitable organization. The Foundation has 501(c)(3) status for recognition of exemption under the Internal Revenue Code and operates under the blanket exempt status of all 4-H entities.
