Two Options within the HNDS major
1. Pre-Dietetics/Dietetics Option

The Pre-Dietetics/Dietetics option is an accredited program that has an admission requirement. Please download and read this handbook to learn more.
The Dietetics Option within the HNDS major emphasizes dietetics sciences with many foundational science courses. This option enables graduates to pursue the registered dietitian credential and work in clinical settings.
The Dietetics Option is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
2. Nutrition Education Option
The Nutrition Education Option within the HNDS major emphasizes nutrition and health science, and instruction. Graduates will be able to provide education to the community and the general public regarding healthy living and healthy eating.
