Chloealtis Conspersa (Harris)
Size: 15-28 mm.
General distribution: Northern U.S. as well as New Brunswick to British Columbia, Canada.
Distribution in New Mexico: Probably in mountains along Colorado state line.
Habitat: Lush mountain grass areas on steep slopes among brush or open woodland.
Host: Probably forbs.
Adults Present: June-September.
Notes: Black lateral lobes of pronotum and lateral abdomen distinguish this species from C. abdominalis. Not economically important.
