Common name: Bruner's Spur-Throat.

Size: 19-28 mm.

General distribution: Alaska, SE to Arizona, New Mexico, and Iowa.

Distribution in New Mexico: Colfax, Rio Arriba, San Miguel.

Habitat: Mountains.

Host: Range grasses.

Adults Present: Unknown.

Notes: Male cerci thick; furculae very large, usually reaching middle of supra-anal plate; tegmina as long as abdomen; hind tibiae reddish to greenish-yellow; general color brown to black. Can be a rangeland pest.
