Welcome to the College of ACES

Whether you are a considering a transfer to an ACES major, thinking about New Mexico State University for your college career, a parent of a potential student, or a member of the academic family here at NMSU, welcome to the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences! We are thrilled that you are part of our ACES family or considering a move to join us.

Our students come from every county of New Mexico, every state of the nation and many countries; 40 percent are ethnic minorities and 20 percent come from farms and ranches. They study agricultural sciences, wildlife, environment, human nutrition, family, tourism management and more. Of our 22 bachelor's degree programs, 14 are offered nowhere else in New Mexico. We also offer or collaborate in five doctoral programs and thirteen master's degrees.

ACES is an exciting place to be. Our faculty are award-winning teachers, researchers and extension educators who have a strong commitment to serving the citizens of New Mexico and to extending the benefits of our research and collaborative endeavors throughout the world.

The mission of the ACES Academic Programs Office is to serve the needs of the students and faculty in the College of ACES.
