Aggies Go Global (AGG) 2011 - 2010

The Jose Fernandez Chair, under the direction of Dr. Michael K. O'Neill, partially supported Austen Moore, a Peace Corps Fellow. The academic 2010-11 year financial support was for part-time work with the AGG office for the College of Agricultural Consumer and Environmental Sciences. The AGG program helps NMSU students find, develop, and fund global learning opportunities outside the classroom in which they:

  • Conduct research for an undergraduate project, Honors thesis, or graduate thesis.
  • Complete an internship in their desired career field.
  • Create an independent project that defies traditional boundaries or classifications.

Over 60 Aggies have gone global through our program, since 2009!
