What is ICAN?
ICAN inspires New Mexico's limited-resource youth and adults to make healthy food and lifestyle choices.
The program provides free, hands-on nutrition education, in a variety of settings, to limited-resource audiences in New Mexico.
ICAN is a program of New Mexico State University's Cooperative Extension Service that is funded by grants from USDA's EFNEP and SNAP-Ed Programs.

ICAN Works in New Mexico
In 2019, ICAN reached out to 105,000 adults and children across the State of New Mexico, delivering face-to-face cooking and nutrition education at over 350 locations statewide.
