NMSU Extension National Diabetes Prevention Program

National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) is a year-long lifestyle change program. Participants meet for 16 consecutive weeks for 1 hr. Before transitioning to monthly maintenance classes 6-8 month period. This program is for people with pre-diabetes. The program will be held in the Dona Ana Extension Office: (1170 N Solano Dr. Suite M, Las Cruces, NM 88001) at 9:30-10:30 a.m.

It is taught by trained lifestyle coach Lucinda Banegas-Carreon, Program Coordinator and Bea Favela, FCS Extension Agent.

Classes:

Classes will meet every Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am at the Dona Ana Extension Office: (1170 N Solano Dr. Suite M, Las Cruces, NM 88001).

Classes will begin from July 9th to October 22nd.

Participation in this program requires a strong commitment, exceptions can be made with advance notice.
