Welcome to the Bi-National Air Quality Program

The goal of the Bi-National Air Quality Project is to design and implement a comprehensive air quality study in southern New Mexico, far West Texas and northwestern Chihuahua state. The project team has been collecting information on air quality for the region and has been designing an optimal network for monitoring air pollutants and collecting meteorological information. We have made a special effort to examine airborne fungal and spore activity that is thought to negatively impact respiratory health.
