With more than 30 years experience as an instructional designer and educational media developer, I have helped build educational programs for diverse audience, particularly in food safety. I understand how to analyze an audience's needs, learning style and delivery environment. Developing a team of experts in video, animation, games and Web applications, directing the development of award-winning, innovative educational media, including games, touch screens kiosks, Web sites, videos and print publications in six different languages - Spanish, Navajo, Mandarin, Cantonese, Fijian and English has been a few of many projects of mine.

I have built a nationally recognized production studio for creative videos, multimedia, distance outreach and education game production. I am the executive producer for more than 700 educational videos; 100 multimedia projects; and support a team of noted game developers.

I received the USDA Diversity Award and ACE Harmony Award for my programs for non-English speaking audiences. I have generated over $25 million for NMSU through grants and contracts and am active in international work, my most recent works in the Middle East. My documentaries have been featured at the Smithsonian Institution and carried on PBS stations in the USA, the Australian Broadcasting Company and Israeli Discovery Channel. My interactive media productions are being used internationally and by numerous federal agencies, universities and school systems.

I now oversee all development of the website enabling sharing of exergames research, posting of best practices, practical recommendations, and evaluation strategies. I will also guide design of the nutrition tool and integration of nutrition content with exergame use. I will ensure the web tools will be dynamic; also ensuring they can be updated and used after this project funding is completed.
