Acoma Pueblo
Fifth Annual Acoma Resource Day

NMSU Cooperative Extension Service specialists and U.S. Department of Agriculture agents will make presentations on livestock and horse health issues, as well as USDA Farm Service Agency and Natural Resource Conservation Service resources and the Animal Identification Program.

The free event is hosted by RAIPAP and Pueblo of Acoma's Natural Resource Department. The pueblo will provide a free lunch for participants.

Time: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: At the tribal auditorium, 33A Pinsbarri St. in the pueblo. More info...

Bernalillo County Extension Master Composters Fall 2014 Training
The next Master Composter Training is scheduled for Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, October 15 to November 8, 2014, at the Bernalillo County Extension Office in Albuquerque. The purpose of the training is to educate people to be expert composters who will then teach others how to compost. It is not necessary to be a resident of Bernalillo County to take the training.
