Become the Best Babysitter Workshop
Time of workshop is 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Registration fee is $10.00. Lunch will be provided. Class size limited to 24 youth, grades 6th-9th. During the Workshop you will receive: babysitter bag, handbook, toys for bag, first aid kit and recipe book. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded.

Send registration form (found on our website) and payment to the quay Extension Service at P.O. Drawer B, Tucumcari, NM 88401. Make checks payable to Quay County Extension Service prior to April 5, 2015. More info...

Women On Target
Instruction Shooting Clinic for women will be held on April 18, 2015, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Logan, NM. There will be an orientation and shooting instruction. The group will meet at the Logan Gun Club for Rifle and Pistol instruction.

After lunch there will be shotgun instruction. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Space is limited to 30 women. You must be 18 to participate. Cost for the Clinic is $20.00 per person which includes firearms, targets, ammunition and lunch.

US Dairy Education & Training Consortium
The U.S. Dairy Education & Training Consortium (USDETC) formerly known as the Southern Great Plains Dairy Consortium is a multi-university organization established in 2008 to meet the educational and training needs of the rapidly expanding dairy industry in the U.S.

The program is a unique partnership in collaboration and a pillar of U.S. dairy sustainability between academia, allied industries and dairy producers. More info...

Tucumcari Field Day set
The Agricultural Science Center at Tucumcari will hold its annual field day on the evening of August 6th.

Dean Catlett will make a presentation immediately before the catered dinner. After dinner a hay wagon tour will take place during which presentations will be made about ongoing research programs and other topics of interest. More info...
