The Fall 2017 lunches are from Sept. 12 thru Nov. 28. We will be closed for Fall Break (Nov. 21 - 24).

Chronic Disease Self-Management Series
The Chronic Disease Self-Management series start Oct. 2, 5:30 to 8 p.m., NMSU Main Campus, Gerald Thomas Hall, Room 322. The class will meet every Monday for six weeks. Class began Oct. 2.

The six-week Chronic Disease Self-Management series is free workshop that is valued at $350 per person. Participants will receive a resource book, a relaxation CD, and an exercise CD. MyCD workshop sessions are interactive. Activities help participants build confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. The MyCD program does not conflict with an individuals' existing health improvement program or treatment plan.

International Dinner Series - Down Under Cuisine
The HRTM International Dinner Series is one of the most gourmet dining experiences you can have in Las Cruces. 

Held on Thursday nights, your evening starts at 6 p.m. with a wine tasting and an hors d’oeuvre reception in our Bobby Lee Lawrence Academy of Wine. Then dinner starts in 100 West Café at 6:30 p.m. All are five course meals with specially paired wines. The dinners cost $62.50 per person.

We have developed a plan to make the purchase of dinner tickets as easy and equitable as possible. Please come in person to Gerald Thomas Hall, Rm. 138, starting on Aug. 31 at 8:30 am to purchase your ticket(s). Payment must be made the day dinner tickets are purchased – there are no refunds.

NMSU's Extension Food Technology is pleased to offer a Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) for Human Food Blended Training course, Dec. 4, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., NMSU Main Campus, Gerald Thomas Hall, Room 322. Class will be in English.

The Blended course consists of 2 parts. Part 1 is offered online by IFTPI. Part 2 is instructor-led face-to-face training. Both parts must be completed in order to obtain the certificate.
