The twelve-week program helps children and their families eat healthier, get active, and feel more positive. Families will cook and enjoy a meal together while learning about nutrition; play games like soccer and tag for a fun physical activity; and learn about self-esteem and confidence. Fit Families is offered free of charge through the generosity of NMSU Cooperative Extension and Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
