Learning Games Lab - Summer Sessions

The FREE Learning Games Lab - Summer Sessions, for middle school students, will be held July 10 and July 20 - 24, 10 a.m. to noon, online.

All interested students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades during the 2020–2021 school year are encouraged to apply. Activities, in Zoom and out-of-session each day, will include game play and evaluation, testing products, learning about the design process, and pitching a game.

The Field Day will be held Aug. 4, registration at 4:30 p.m., Tucumcari ASC (Agricultural Science center).

The evening program begins with a speaker and free catered dinner at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is sponsored by local businesses and served by the Quay County Roadrunners 4-H Club.

After dinner, presentations of ongoing research projects will be made on a hay ride tour. The event ends with an ice cream bar social back at the barn. All ages have enjoyed the program in the past. Everyone welcome!
